Fàilte Gu The Seaforth Restaurant

Situated in the magnificent Highlands along the NC500 with great Scottish and South African hospitality. Our restaurant with its wonderful atmosphere and local charm is positioned in the heart of Ullapool with a variety of indoor and outdoor seating areas including our beer gardens where our customers can enjoy watching the world go by, the boats in Lochbroom harbour come and go. We take great pride in where we source our produce from, ensuring sustainability and quality for our customers, being awarded a Certificate of Excellence by Sluurpy in 2023. Each dish has been carefully put together by our Head Chef – Bolton Chore.

Locally landed

From Land and Sea to Plate

We have a variety of Scottish and Seafood inspired dishes cooked to perfection. We are proud to have a brilliant extended family of suppliers who fill our kitchens and stock our bars with amazing ingredients. Our flavoursome langoustines are locally landed from the Lochbroom waters. Our famous Atlantic haddock is sustainably sourced from the North Atlantic seas, our black pudding is from Stornoway, on the Western Isles accessible by ferry from Ullapool Harbour. We ensure our beef is from sustainable and ethical farming sources in Scotland.

Our Restaurant menu has been designed with care by Head Chef Bolton Chare, and Restaurant Manager Jody Keating. Inspired by traditional Scottish dishes, locally sourced Seafood and a hint of South Africa. Creating mouth-watering creations for you to enjoy. We take great pride in where we source our produce from, ensuring sustainability and quality for our customers.


Whisky Bar

Over 90 whiskies. Some say whisky is an acquired taste. If that is true, you haven’t tried the right whisky perfectly chosen for you by a whisky sommelier. We are incredibly proud to have our very own Master of Malt Whisky Tony Hercus as part of our family as well as our talented barmen David Kennedy whose combined knowledge of whiskies inspire.

Not just a Chippy but so much more. Our famous Fish and Chips is worth travelling for, being awarded “Best Fish & Chips – North” by the Scottish Fish & Chips Awards 2023.
