The walk is very pleasant and our nine year old managed easily up to the view point. We completed the circuit in two and a half hours but went back by the longer route to make it a round trip. The area is stunningly beautiful and is great to start a walk from town . The path was clearly marked and not too boggy..
Quite a steep walk, but not too challenging if you go at your own pace. The higher you get the more spectacular the views, and getting to the top and getting the complete 360 is an amazing feeling Vey liberating. We visited in May and we're the only people there so lovely and quiet.
