Lael Crafts Gallery

Lael Crafts Gallery shows a wide selection of some of the best local and Scottish arts and crafts. Tweeds and textiles, wood and weaving, prints and paintings, jewellery, ceramics, sea glass and silver, pens and baskets; to name just a few. And now serving traditional coffee ground for your order and roasted in the Cairngorms along with tea and hot chocolate, scrummy cakes and bakes. Set in wooded surroundings we are just 10 miles south of Ullapool, on the A835, two miles north of A835/A832 Braemore Junction. Don't drive by - drop in!


Made In Ullapool

Made In Ullapool is a social enterprise that supports vulnerable people in a work environment. Workshops are currently held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 11am-3.00pm. The shop is open Monday to Saturday 10am-5pm.Handmade Candles by Made In Ullapool, a selection of Ness Soaps and T-shirts by Highland Brights.


Highland Stoneware

A unique collection of quality pottery to use and enjoy, each piece is entirely made and freehand painted by exceptionally skilled carfts people. Visitors are welcome to look round the pottery and watch whatever processes are going on. Our shop has many one-off pieces as well as our range of gifts, table and cookware.


The Captain’s Cabin

The Captain’s Cabin is situated on Quay Street, Ullapool, Wester Ross, right in the heart of the village, beside Lochbroom Hardware and The Ullapool Bookshop  and is very close to the Harbour and Ferry Terminal.

Here at the Captain’s Cabin, (in one of the oldest buildings in Ullapool), you will find a well established Gift and Craft Shop, offering Pottery, Knitwear, Soaps, Scottish Gifts, Local Crafts, Games & Toys, Candles and much more. Ceard

Ceard If you are looking for gifts or simply want to browse around an intertesting and well-stocked 'local' store, do look in here. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and the place stocks a wide range of goods, ranging from clothing, hats, bags, cushions, tartan items, through to ornaments, household goods, toys, china, pottery and so much more. I rarely leave without purchases as there is much to tempt one. The Cabin is located upstairs, adjacent to the Ullapool Bookstore and ironmoingers, right on the main corner by the ferry terminal
